The LKWD series forward single inlet external rotor centrifugal fan is a specialized fan for air conditioning systems developed by our company. It adopts a single inlet structure, which is particularly suitable for single-sided inlet working conditions such as ceiling installation, wall installation, or box installation. The fluid model of this series of fans has been optimized using advanced CFD technology, which not only increases output pressure but also reduces noise and improves efficiency. It has the characteristics of energy saving and low noise, and is particularly suitable for supporting various air conditioning, refrigeration, purification, fresh air units and other products. It has been widely used in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, cinemas and other fields.
The standard configuration of this series of fans does not come with a fan base. When customers have special needs, we can provide bases with three different air outlet angles of 0 °, 90 °, and 180 °. We can also customize fan products for other air outlet directions, with flexible and convenient installation forms.
This series of fans comes in two different forms of supporting motors: single-phase motors and three-phase motors. Special supporting motors with different voltages and frequencies can also be customized according to your needs, making it convenient for applications in different countries, regions, and fields.
This series of fans also offers different speed modes such as single speed, dual speed, three speed, and brushless DC (stepless speed regulation) to meet your needs for air volume regulation.
This series of fans has the following significant advantages:
1) Adopting an external rotor motor, the structure is compact, the volume is small, the weight is light, and the installation method is flexible and simple;
2) Adopting optimized forward multi blade impeller design, high pressure, low noise, high efficiency and low noise, environmentally friendly and energy-saving;
3) The independently developed supporting motor has been carefully optimized for power, and its reliability and service life are superior to ordinary motors.
Typical model:LKW 250 M–4 C 2
Model meaning:
LKWD: Forward single inlet external rotor centrifugal fan
250: nominal diameter of impeller (mm)
M: Wind turbine axial dimension code
4: Number of supporting motor poles, where EC represents brushless DC motor
C: Motor power supply, single-phase power supply is C, three-phase power supply does not have this code
2: The speed mode of a single-phase fan does not have this code for single speed, 2 for dual speed and 3 for three speed
The installation angle of a fan includes two characteristics: rotation direction and outlet angle.
1) Rotation direction: The direction of rotation of the impeller can be divided into forward and reverse directions.
From the lead end of the fan, if the impeller rotates clockwise, it is called a clockwise fan (abbreviated as CW in English); If the impeller rotates counterclockwise, it is called a reverse fan (CCW).
2) Exhaust angle: The angle between the fan outlet and the installation plane. The conventional exhaust angles for this series of fans are 0 °, 90 °, and 180 °. If you need other exhaust angles, please contact our company for customization.
3) Installation angle diagram:
The working environment suitable for this series of fans is:
1) Altitude not exceeding 1000 meters;
2) The ambient temperature shall not be lower than -25 ℃ and not higher than 40 ℃;
3) The relative humidity of the environment shall not exceed 90%;
4) The transported gas does not contain acidic, alkaline, or corrosive media, and the dust content is not greater than 150mg/m3.
When the working environment does not meet the above requirements, it needs to be explained when placing an order. Our company can customize according to specific on-site conditions.
Flow rate: 400-6100m3/h
Full pressure: 150-900Pa
Beyond this range, please choose other series of fan products from our company, or contact our company for customization.
1. Pre use inspection
Before use, please carefully check:
(1) Whether the motor leads are intact and undamaged;
(2) Are all bolts loose;
(3) Are there severe deformations in components such as the fan volute, impeller, and motor shaft;
(4) Rotate the impeller by hand, and the rotation is smooth and there is no obvious lag phenomenon.
2. Installation
(1) The grounding bolt of the fan should be reliably grounded;
(2) The fan should be equipped with phase loss and overload protection devices;
(3) Double speed or three speed fans are strictly prohibited from being used in parallel electrically. When multiple fans are used, each fan must be controlled separately using an independent main circuit controller (contactor or frequency converter);
3. Start and Run
(1) Before starting the fan, the working power supply should be checked and must be within the range of rated voltage ± 5% and rated frequency ± 1%;
(2) Before starting a single-phase fan, the air valve of the outlet pipeline should be closed, otherwise it may cause difficulty in starting;
(3) Double speed or three speed fans should be started at high speed, and then switched to a lower speed after the fan is running normally;
(4) The rotation direction of the fan impeller should be the same as the direction marked;
(5) The operating current of the fan should not exceed the nameplate current, otherwise it may cause damage or burning of the motor;
(6) During the operation of the fan, it is strictly prohibited to extend one's body or foreign objects towards the inside of the fan to avoid danger.
